- Silicon Recovery: The silicon wafers can be melted down and purified to be used again in brand new solar cells, creating a true circular economy.
The European Union has strict WEEE directives that legally force manufacturers to fund the recycling of their panels. Specialized companies like Rosil in Europe are already achieving recovery rates exceeding 95% of the panel's mass. The solar industry is determined not to repeat the ecological mistakes of the fossil fuel era.
