Even on a heavily rainy day, your panels might produce 10% to 20% of their maximum rated capacity. It isn't much, but it's often enough to run the fridge, the internet router, and the lights.

Ultimately, a cloudy climate simply means you might need to install one or two extra panels to achieve the same annual energy yield as a house in a sunny climate. The math still heavily favors going solar.
